RFID CARGO LABEL

INTRODUCTION:
• According to the customs agencies an average of 60% of cargo escapes verification at European Customs. 20% of shipping bills are not checked and there are at least 50.000 counterfeit documents in each major port.
• 99% of the cases involve containers received from Asia and its estimated that these discrepancies result in EURO 200 million of evaded taxes, every six monthsat each major European port .

PORT EFFICENCY AND PRODUCTVITY

• Rigorous bureaucracy and meticulous customs checks often mean that transportation of cargo becomes a slow and time consumingprocess.
• In certain European ports goods are received entirely from Asia and onlyMILLIONS OF TONNES of these goods are registered.
• At least another million tones pass through European ports without being recorded or identified.
• Each container must be numbered with a unique ID code and numbering, however there are many containers which are labelled withduplicate identification. These containers are easily and often unknowingly overlooked during the various checks at the port.

ITS VERY EASY FOR A CONTAINER TO SLIP THROUGH THE NETOF LEGALITY

An RFID label not only clearly identifies the numbering and ID code of the container, but can also supply an electronic identification which cannot be modified or duplicated.LEGHORN’S CARGO E-LABEL CANNOT BE COUNTEFITED.
