It can be used as a back up to the ACEP tag which identifies all the technical specification of the container including when it was commissioned, who manufactured it, details on the maximum load it can carry and the load it can support.

It can also hold any revisions or further testing as in accordance with the ACEP requirements for international shipping containers.
