Custom Trade Partnership Against Terrorism - Initiative follows the terrorist attacks on the 11th September 2001.
C-tpat that is a Cbp initiative, it is a voluntary agreement between Us Customs and the industry and at the moment is not required by law.
The aim of this agreement is to ensure that the C-tpat partners improve the security of their supply chains pursuant to C-tpat security criteria.
All C-tpat member collaborate with Cbp to better secure the international supply chain to the United States in support of Cbp’s priority Homeland Security mission.
